TTC Tutor to run Workshop at September Dubai Starch Conference
The Dubai Workshop entitled ‘Starch Modification Technology and the Clean Label Challenge‘ will provide an in-depth knowledge of Clean Label Starches and an overview of legal framework of food starch modification as well as physical starch modifications (pre-gelatinization, hydrothermal treatment).
Delegates will gain an understanding of the key characteristics of physically / enzymatically modified starches, knowledge of chemical starch modification (starch thinning, starch esters, starch ethers) as well as its key characteristics. This will include exposure to chemical starch modification technologies such as slurry modification, semi-dry and dry modification.
This workshop will be led by Technology Training Courses’ senior tutor, Dr. Michael Radeloff.
